We are delighted to share the latest milestones in the redevelopment of Bury Cross Garage for A&S Motors Ltd, delivered by Birchen Construction Ltd and their dedicated contractors. This project is a testament to our ability as Employer’s Agent to operate in a dynamic environment, managing complex stakeholder expectations while driving progress towards our client’s ambitious objectives.
Key Achievements This Month
- The roof, gable, and flank masonry walls were safely removed and disposed of, thanks to the expertise of Portsmouth Demolition and Salvage.
- Pad foundations have been excavated and cast, setting the stage for the steel frame erection scheduled to begin next week by Stephens & Stuart Engineering Co. Ltd.
- Preparation for steel erection is already underway, including on-site modifications to the existing frame and off-site pre-decoration of new steelwork to minimise working at height and accelerate the programme.

Throughout these works, the workshop has remained fully operational, thanks to the successful completion of phase one last year.
