We have had a busy and productive week demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
Plan
The preceding weekend saw Leon Maidment celebrating his birthday in the Brecon Beacons, this set a positive tone for the upcoming work.
Do
Monday: Conducted a fire door installation project compliance inspection, focusing on wider site arrangements and a further compliance inspection for a client undertaking works on a domestic property.
Tuesday: Performed BREEAM and site compliance inspection for a project at Peter Symonds College and initiated the first compliance inspection for a new client’s lime mortar production facility.
Wednesday: Provided CDM compliance advice, prepared for an ISO Clause 8 audit, and carried out Employer’s Agent duties.
Thursday: Further developed our Associate Networks Agreement, conducted a unique compliance inspection for an oak-framed restoration project, and had a catch-up lunch with Stag Systems.
Friday: Executed site compliance inspections for a window replacement project and two college facilities, as well as delivered train-the-trainer training for face fit testing.
Check
The week was packed with diverse activities, demonstrating our expertise in various areas of project management and compliance. The team successfully balanced multiple client needs, from compliance inspections to training sessions to CDM guidance and so much more.

Weekend: Rest and recuperation after a demanding week.
Next week: Client Day at their premises to assist with system development, conduct an ISO Clause 8 audit, perform site compliance inspections for several clients with different requirements, carry out Employer’s Agent duties, and more.
