Reflections – Week 10

Health & Safety, Project Management, Reflections, Training & Mentoring, Weekly Round Up

Ever wondered what it takes to keep a historic property safe, mentor future engineers, and ace an ISO audit all in one week?  Let’s dive into our action-packed Week 10!

Monday:
We began our week with a site inspection at a historic property, uncovering layers of history while conducting a deep procedural dive into hazard identification and risk assessment.  The stories hidden within its walls undoubtably hold some intriguing mysteries as well as details!

Tuesday:
Our team delivered in-house training and formulated risk assessments for manufacturing processes.  The day didn’t end there—we also conducted another site inspection and visited the University of Bath to mentor engineering students.  It was a fulfilling day of sharing knowledge and ensuring safety.

Wednesday:
Midweek, we focused on site inspection reports and had a business lunch centred on LCS development.  The discussions were promising, and we’re excited about the upcoming developments.  Stay tuned!

Thursday:
Thursday was all about providing CDM advice and guidance, updating ISO audit requirements, managing the Bury Cross project, and handling essential administrative tasks.  It was a day of balancing multiple priorities and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Friday:
We wrapped up the week with the ISO Stage 2 final audit day.  Additionally, we reported on a site inspection, using the train and e-bee to reach our destination efficiently.  It was a fitting end to a productive week.
