A busy & Fulfilling Week

Weekly Round Up

This week at LCS Project Solutions Ltd, our team has been busy executing a wide range of projects and activities, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in project management.  Here is a breakdown of our week, structured around the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle:

Plan

We kicked off the week by planning and preparing for various site compliance inspections and client meetings.  Our team developed strategies for:

  • Conducting site visits for new teaching facilities
  • Implementing Monday.com to track H&S management systems for a new client
  • Preparing CDM and H&S guidance materials
  • Organising an environmental awareness seminar

Do

Our team actively engaged in numerous on-site activities and client interactions throughout the week:

  • Performed site compliance inspections at two locations where new teaching facilities are under construction
  • Conducted site inspections in London for fire protection installations and fibre cable retrofitting projects
  • Led an environmental awareness online seminar for one of our partners
  • Met with a potential client to discuss QMS development aligned with ISO 9001
  • Carried out various site visits for a local authority
  • Delivered risk assessment training
  • Participated in a mentoring event at the University of Bath’s Faculty of Design and Engineering

Check

We continuously assessed the effectiveness of our and our clients actions and gathered feedback:

  • Evaluated the outcomes of site inspections and client meetings
  • Reviewed the success of the environmental awareness seminar based on delegate attendance and engagement
  • Reflected on the insights gained from the mentoring event at the University of Bath

Act

Based on our observations and assessments, we took action to improve our services and processes:

  • Refined our CDM advisor duties and BREEAM AP responsibilities
  • Adjusted our approach to Employer’s Agent, QMS, and H&S safety duties
  • Incorporated feedback from the mentoring event to enhance our future interactions with emerging professionals

This week has been particularly rewarding, with opportunities to engage with the next generation of professionals at the University of Bath mentoring event.  We were inspired by their innovative ideas and ambitious goals, reinforcing our commitment to fostering talent in the industry.

As we reflect on this diverse and energetic week, we look forward to applying our learnings to future projects and continuing to provide exceptional service to our clients.
