Weekly Round Up

As we wrap up another productive week at LCS Project Solutions, we are excited to share not only what we have accomplished but also how we’re enhancing our services through innovative tools like Fonn and Monday.com.  Our commitment to excellence in project management, health and safety, and client support continues to drive us forward.

A Week of Learning and Collaboration

We kicked off the week with a virtual contracts manager meeting focused on health and safety updates for our ongoing projects.  This was followed by a BREEAM team update, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable practices in construction.  We also delivered in-person CDM awareness training for a group of contracts managers, emphasising the critical importance of safety in construction design and management.

On Tuesday, our team engaged in hands-on development at New Forest Fencing, working on site-based systems, project controls, and manufacturing systems.  This practical approach exemplifies our commitment to tailored solutions that meet our clients’ unique needs.

Compliance Inspections and Strategic Planning

Midweek brought compliance site tours, where we conducted thorough inspections and generated detailed reports using Monday.com.  Our project management duties at Bury Cross included ensuring adherence to the required processes.

On Thursday, we visited a site to provide guidance on a roof replacement project while the building remains active.  This visit was part of our team planning day for November and December, where we outlined strategies for upcoming client commitments.

Leveraging Technology for Enhanced Client Support

To reduce the time on site and the potential disruption to site activities, we are able to interrogate a clients management system ahead of arriving to site by assessment of their Fonn system, a powerful tool to assist in daily project management functions.

To complement this, ww are using Monday.com for dynamic reporting and KPI tracking.  Our customised boards allow us to present inspection results visually, making it easier for clients to identify areas of concern or success at a glance.  With real-time data tracking capabilities, we can sync information from Fonn and other data sources directly into Monday.com, ensuring that our reports reflect the most current status of compliance efforts.

Training and Quality Management

We concluded the week with train-the-trainer sessions aimed at empowering our clients with knowledge and skills in project planning.  Additionally, we focused on essential administrative tasks, including submitting a fee proposal for a Quality Management System aligned with ISO9001:2015.
