Reflecting on the Past Month – Continuous Improvement and PDCA Implementation

Throughout the past month, LCS Project Solutions Ltd has consistently applied the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle across various projects and activities.  This approach has ensured continuous improvement in project management, quality control, and client satisfaction.

Key Achievements

  1. Quality Management Systems: Developed and refined comprehensive quality management systems for clients.
  2. ISO Audits: Assisted the Ascia team with ISO Stage 2 audits, demonstrating commitment to maintaining high standards.
  3. Site Compliance Inspections: Conducted thorough inspections at various locations, including Merton College, Albion Towers, and Andover College, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
  4. Training and Development: Delivered training and system development for clients, enhancing their operational capabilities.
  5. Specialised Projects: Engaged in diverse projects, including fire door replacements, domestic refurbishments, and even a specialist noise and vibration survey.
  6. Environmental Management: Initiated the development of a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for a solar field project, showcasing commitment to sustainable practices.
  7. Team Expansion: Welcomed new associates Harriet Calvert and Kira Bennett, expanding the company’s expertise in health and safety compliance.

Looking Ahead to the Coming Month

  1. Implementation of Audit Findings: Apply insights gained from recent ISO audits to further improve internal processes and client services.
  2. Expansion of Quality Management Systems: Extend the refined quality management approaches to benefit a broader range of clients.
  3. Enhanced Training Programs: Develop targeted training initiatives based on recent site inspection findings and client needs.
  4. CDM Compliance Focus: Further enhance the CDM tracker system to ensure robust compliance monitoring for all clients.
  5. Advancing New Expertise: Fully integrate the skills of new associates Harriet and Kira to strengthen service offerings in health and safety compliance.
  6. Sustainable Practices: Continue to emphasise and develop expertise in sustainable project management, building on experiences like the solar field CEMP and the temporary theatre project using sustainable techniques.
  7. Client-Specific Innovations: Use gathered intelligence and project experiences to innovate and optimise service provisions for individual clients.
  8. Compliance Excellence: Maintain the high standard of compliance inspections across various sectors, from new builds to historic sites like Woburn Abbey and Hampton Court Palace.
