Leon Maidment, a seasoned health and safety consultant with over a decade of experience in the construction industry.  With a firm commitment to safety and compliance, Leon has dedicated his career to helping businesses navigate their health and safety responsibilities.

Lee Shirley is a dedicated professional with a wealth of expertise in the realm of health and safety management and other compliance management processes. As the co- founder of LCS Project Solutions Ltd, Lee has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for ensuring safe and compliant work environments.

Qualifications & Experience

Leon’s journey in the construction industry began as a window installer and fabricator. Over the years, Leon’s passion for health and safety led him to take on roles of increasing responsibility. Leon has served as a Health and Safety Manager and later as a Group Health and Safety Manager, overseeing and managing health and safety from a site level to setting and implementing policy.

Leon’s pursuit of excellence in health and safety led him to become a Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Leon also earned a NEBOSH Diploma, strengthening his expertise in the field. These qualifications, coupled with a decade of hands-on experience, have equipped Leon with the knowledge and skills to ensure that businesses achieve the highest levels of safety compliance.

Leon’s passion for health and safety compliance drove him to join a reputable health and safety consultancy. There, Leon honed his skills in helping clients reach legal compliance, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing robust health and safety management systems.

Leon’s journey took an exciting turn when he joined Faithful+Gould as a Principal Designer. In this role, Leon had the privilege of working with government departments, guiding them through the complexities of construction projects while prioritising health and safety at every step.

In 2023, Leon, with Lee Shirley, founded LCS Project Solutions Ltd. Our mission is clear: to assist our clients in ensuring the highest standards of compliance are met, whether this is health and safety management, quality management, environmental standards management, or project management. Lee’s educational background sets the foundation for his reflective knowledge of health and safety practices. Holding the prestigious NEBOSH Diploma demonstrates his deep understanding of the field.

As a CITB accredited trainer, Lee has not only mastered the intricacies of health and safety but is also dedicated to sharing this knowledge with others. His training skills ensure that frontline workers and management professionals across various industries can embrace best practices.

Lee’s commitment to excellence extends to auditing and compliance control. His lead auditor training equips him with the skills needed to identify areas for improvement and implement effective preventive and corrective strategies.

With a background in construction site work and management, Lee brings a unique perspective to health, safety, and other compliance arrangements. His hands-on experience allows him to understand the practical challenges and solutions required in high-risk environments.

Lee’s affiliation with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as a Certified Member demonstrates his dedication to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
