Reflections – Week 24

Reflections, Weekly Round Up

A Busy and Rewarding Week, Through the Lens of PDCA

This week at LCS Project Solutions Ltd was a testament to how much can be achieved when focus, teamwork, and continuous improvement come together. Here’s our Week 24 diary—structured around the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach that underpins our commitment to excellence.

Plan

We started the week by setting our sights on several key objectives:

  • Deepen our focus on behavioural safety, finding new ways to help our clients raise safety awareness within their teams.
  • Strengthen our financial position with a review and planning session alongside M Squared Accounting Ltd.
  • Keep our standards high through ongoing policy reviews and thorough site inspections.
  • Support our team’s wellbeing, encouraging rest and recovery as a core value.
  • Continue our tradition of giving back by mentoring those starting their business journey.

Do

With our plan in place, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work:

  • Delivered fresh behavioural safety initiatives, sparking meaningful conversations with client teams about safety culture.
  • Met with our accountant to review finances and plan for sustainable business growth.
  • Visited a new site for Birchen Construction and conducted comprehensive policy reviews and site inspections.
  • Encouraged Lee Shirley to take a well-deserved break in the mountains, reminding us all of the importance of work-life balance.
  • Shared insights and advice over coffee with an aspiring entrepreneur, supporting the next generation of business leaders.

Check

Midweek and at week’s end, we took time to reflect and review:

  • Gathered feedback from clients and team members on the impact of our behavioural safety efforts.
  • Assessed the effectiveness of our financial planning and policy review processes.
  • Monitored team wellbeing, noting the positive impact of rest and balance.
  • Reflected on the value of knowledge-sharing and community engagement.

Act

Armed with new insights, we’re taking action to drive further improvement:

  • Refining our behavioural safety programmes based on what resonated most with clients and teams.
  • Adjusting our financial and policy review routines to be even more effective.
  • Embedding work-life balance more deeply into our culture.
  • Continuing to offer mentorship and support to those starting out in business.

Reflective Statement

Week 24 was a powerful reminder that progress is built on planning, action, honest reflection, and a willingness to adapt.  Our team’s dedication, the trust of our clients, and our commitment to continuous improvement are what keep LCS Project Solutions Ltd moving forward.  Here’s to another week of growth, learning, and shared success!
